Hall of Fame 49ers quarterback Joe Montana is suing his first wife Kim Moses because she decided to auction off Joe Montana memorabilia without his consent. The two haven’t been married for quite awhile and it’s sad to see these kinds of lawsuits come up after a breakup but they do happen. No I’m not Joe Montana but I have had my fair share of breakups. I was surprised to hear they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement but I guess Kim Moses married him before he was a big time NFL quarterback who could just sell a Joe Montana autographed football if he needed a new car. If you’re too young to know who he is, do yourself a favor and go get a copy of a Joe Montana biography and read up on a legend. Like I said, I’ve had my fair share of breakups but I’ve never had to sue a girlfriend or sue Kim Moses like Montana had to. Maybe his wife needed the money or maybe she was just trying to spite Joe. Who knows what Joe Montana’s wife did? The point is you should have a plan on how to divvy your belongings up in the case of a breakup. Maybe you get the widescreen TV and she gets the couch. The espresso maker is her’s but you definitely get to keep your football card collection.
